Through the Centre for Teaching Excellence, this hub works with teachers across Scotland to explore the distinctive opportunities and challenges of rural and remote contexts, with a particular focus on sustainability and place-based education. Drawing on research and practitioner expertise, the Hub offers professional conversations, collaborative networks, research briefings, and enquiry opportunities that support teachers to develop responsive, innovative approaches to teaching and learning. The Hub aims to strengthen practice, foster collaboration, and enhance outcomes for learners in diverse settings.
