Welcome to the Gaelic Education Core Hub.
We are based at Sabhal Mòr Ostaig on the Isle of Skye and, through the Centre for Teaching Excellence, we provide research-informed activities and guidance to teachers working in Gaelic education throughout Scotland. With a focus on national and international research on immersion and language education, the Hub offers research briefings, communities of practice, professional conversations, and research partnerships to encourage engagement with practitioner enquiry, support teachers, and enhance Gaelic education outcomes.
